The Equine Science program at ISU utilizes the historic horse barns located on campus and the newer Equine Learning Center located on Mortensen road. The horse farm provides students with the opportunity to learn and work in a hands-on setting. The historic barns on campus house two student apartments, an office, reproduction lab, equine treadmill, and a classroom. The Equine Learning Center offers an additional 25 stalls, lab, breeding area, and summer pasture.
