Farming is one of the most stressful occupations in the United States and farmers are dealing with many stressors this harvest season. Although individuals involved in the agriculture industry may not come out and verbally share they are under financial or emotional stress, there are signs that they may be in need of help.  These signs can be observed by family members, friends, neighbors, veterinarians, physicians, and clergy.
ISU Extesnion and Outreach has resources available for farm families and ag partners to help them during times of stress.
