4-H Superintendents

Are you interested in being a 4-H project superintendent?
Superintendents are active volunteers who focus on one specific project area.  Livestock and animal superintendents are in charge of working with the County Youth Coordinator to set up and run the pre-fair and county fair weigh ins, finding volunteers help run the weigh ins and shows, help to create and arrange the show order, make recommendations for judges, stalling assignments, update rules and class orders, put together workshops and clinics to gain more interest in the project and keep the participants up to date and educated on the project.  Non-livestock superintendents also help to put clinics and workshops together, make judge recommendations for county fair, attend and help run the county fair event and update rules and class orders.  Livestock superintendents include—beef, sheep, goat, swine, dogs, rabbits, poultry and pets.  Non-livestock superintendents include—table setting, clothing events, working exhibits, educational presentations, extemporaneous speaking, share the fun and static.  Superintendents serve a one year term and then may apply again for the following year.
