Apricot and apricot blend shrub. the carrot red buds open to very full double, quartered blooms with salmon outer petals and carrot red inner petals all with aurelian yellow bases, petal reverse is aurelian yellow at petal bases shading to orient pink at top edges. the blooms are borne in small clusters of 3-5 and are very fragrant. the foliage is large, medium green and glossy. The bushy, compact plant is 3 feet tall and blooms abundantly from June until frost. The plants have good resistance to Blackspot and mildew. The plants are winter-hardy in Iowa without protection.
