Orange pink shrub. The round-ovoid-pointed to urn-shaped buds open to double (50+ petals), cupped, quartered, 4-4.5 inch blooms of peach (RHSCC 29C) over a coral pink (RHSCC 38D) base. As the blooms age, the become tinted with marigold orange (RHSCC 28C). The blooms, home singly and in clusters of 5-10, have a sweet fragrance. The abundant, large foliage is leathery and dark green (RHSCC 147A). The thorns are tan-green and awl-like. The vigorous, bushy plant is erect and blooms abundantly from June until killing frost. Plants are winter-hardy in Iowa to 6-8" without protection.
