Pink blend shrub. The medium-sized, ovoid-pointed buds of orange-tinted Rhodonite red (RHSCC 51 D) open to double,(20-25 petals), slightly-cupped, open, 3.5-4 inch blooms with petals of French rose (RHSCC 49D) shaded with light yellow (RHSCC 7A) and stippled with Empire rose (RHSCC 48C). The abundant, semi-glossy, leathery foliage is woodpecker green (RHSCC 147A). The thorns are tan and awl-like. The erect, bushy, 3 ft plant is free-branching and blooms from June until killing frost. The plants are winter-hardy in Iowa without protection.
