Yellow blend shrub. The long-pointed, ovoid buds of dark peach (RHSCC 29B) open to double (25-30 petals), open to slightly cupped, 4-4.5 inch blooms of dark peach over yellow which age lighter. The blooms are borne 1-15 per cluster and have a pleasantly sweet fragrance. The leathery, glossy foliage is a coppery mid-green (RHSCC 137A)color. The thorns are tan and awl-like. The upright, bushy plant is similar to Carefree Beauty (BUCbi) in growth habit and blooms from June until killing frost. The plants are winter-hardy in Iowa without protection.
