Medium pink shrub. the medium-sized, ovoid-pointed buds of ruby red (RHSCC 60B) open to double, open, cupped, 4-5 in blooms of lavender rose (RHSCC 64C) which age lighter. The blooms are borne in clusters of 3-10 and have a sweet fragrance. The abundant, leathery, glossy foliage is olive green. the erect, bushy, 3-4.5 ft plant is vigorous, blooming June to killing frost. The plants are winter-hardy in Iowa without protection.
