Pink blend shrub-grandiflora. The ovoid, pointed buds open slowly to double (25-35 petals), high-centered, 4-5 inch blooms of light empire rose (RHSCC 48C) with white at the base of the petals. The blooms, occurring in clusters of 5-10, become open with age and have a sweet scent. The abundant, large, leathery foliage is dark green (RHSCC 147B). The erect, bushy plant spreading to a height of 2-3 ft and blooms abundantly from June until killing frost. The plants are winter-hardy in Iowa to 12-15" without protection.
