4hOnline

4hOnline is the online database that is used to for 4-H enrollment. You must be signed up in 4hOnline to be part of the 4-H Program.  All livestock and pets need to be entered in 4hOnline by May 15th with the exception of rabbits and poultry which need to be entered by July 1st. All building project areas need to be entered in 4hOnline by May 15th.

County 4-H Awards

All Dubuque County 4-H members are encouraged to apply for record keeping awards. All award applications are due on September 16. 
 
Junior 4-H'ers (grades 4-6 last school year) may apply for awards in project areas. 
 
Intermediate and Senior 4-H'ers (grades 7-12 last school year) are also eligible to apply for project area recognition. A 4-H'er can recieve that project recognition only once as an Intermediate or Senior 4-H'er. Those in grades 10-12 may also apply to advance to state award consideration. Additional information is available from the Dubuque County Extension and Outreach office.

Joe Simon of Dubuque County was inducted into the 2020 Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame during a virtual ceremony on Sunday, August 23. Eighty-six Iowa counties are participating this year and have selected 117 inductees for their outstanding service and dedication to 4-H.
