Tri-State Local Food Summit

“So many wonderful people and organizations were represented and I had a great time meeting them and sharing ideas.  I came away energized and refreshed, ready to tackle our upcoming season.” - Robin Stone, Share the Harvest Manchester

ISU Extension and Outreach - Dubuque County and our partners at Sinsinawa Mound were thrilled to have over 150 participants from across the community and country at the Tri-State Local Food Summit on February 11th at Sinsinawa Mound. Together with farmers, non-profit leaders, Extension specialists, and grassroots community leaders, we explored the theme of Building A Food System That Works For Everyone. Presentations from the days workshops, and other helpful resources on topics ranging from Farm to Institution Purchasing to Prison Gardens are archived below.
