Commercial and Confinement Manure Certification and Reshow Policy

COMMERCIAL MANURE 

Reshows of the training will be done by DVD. It will be shown at our office in Spirit Lake on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Applicators are required to call ahead to make an appointment at least one day before to view even though this time is set aside. If no one calls to schedule an appointment, the DVD will not be shown. 

In the event that a conflict arrises with this time and date, such as other ISU Extension and Outreach programs, the DVD will not be shown that month.

Please call before to assure a reshow will be held. Other county office reshow schedule is listed below.


 
CONFINEMENT MANURE

Training by DVD will be handled in the same manner. The DVD will be shown on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Applicators are required to call and make an appointment the day before to view even though this time is set aside. If no one calls to schedule an appointment, the DVD will not be shown. 

In the event that a conflict arises with this time and date, such as other ISU Extension and Outreach programs, the DVD will not be shown that month.

**There is no charge for attending the workshops or viewing the DVD on the scheduled reshow date and time at the ISU Extension and Outreach Dickinson County Office. However applicators requesting to view the DVD on dates not scheduled at our office will be charged a fee of $10.00 per person. 


Neighboring county reshow dates March through December will be:
  • Clay County - 2nd Tuesday, 3rd Wednesday, 4th Thursday of the Month
  • O'Brien County - 1stThursday of the Month
  • Osceola County - 2nd Tuesday of the Month
  • Lyon County - 2nd Thursday of the Month
  • Sioux County - 3rd Thursday of the Month

**To all Confinement Site Applicators, Commercial Manure Applicators and Business owners: When attending certification training in the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach office, because of bio-security reasons please wear clean clothes into the offices or be prepared to leave boots and coats outside.
