Food Safety Escape Challenge will be offered May 25th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Des Moines County Extension Office, 1700 W. Mt. Pleasant St., West Burlington. The training will focus on how to protect the children in your care from foodborne illness and meets the food safety training requirement for IQ4K.

The training is free for Des Moines County residents. Please contact the Des Moines County Extension Office before registering online. Iowa State University Extension and Outreach offers training for childcare providers to teach best practices relative to nutrition, physical activity, health, and safety for children in their care. Each training is approved by Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (IDHHS) and Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) for two hours of credit for child care license renewal.
