Improve your ability to manage the birthing process with hands-on practice and expert guidance.  A session led by Dr. Dohlman will offer the unique opportunity to work with a model cow to gain hands-on experience in managing malpresentations and other causes of dystocia.  Dr. Clark will discuss care and management of the neonatal calf including some thoughts on colostrum, processing, and nutritional management of the dam.  Regardless of experience level, there should be something interesting and useful for any cow-calf producer.
