Those receiving project recognition for the first time will receive a plaque. Bars that may be added to the plaque will be given to those who submit an application that continues to show growth in the following years.

- Complete specific requirements for specialized awards

- Horton Award

Recognizes members who have completed at least one project record keeping system and one year in the 4-H program who show outstanding work in several project areas, accomplishments and 4-H activities. This award is available to youth who have just completed grades 4 through 6. Sponsored by Roger Horton. (3-5)*
Additional requirements for this award- In a short paragraph answer the following
- What is leadership to you? Identify your 4-H leadership experiences and how you have used at least 1 project area you have completed as a leadership opportunity.
- Share how your 4-H knowledge, participation, and accomplishments have met the needs of others in your family, club, school and community.
Members can only receive this award one time in their 4-H career.
- First Year Intermediate/Senior Award

Recognizes First year members who have completed one year in the 4-H program at least one project record keeping system and who shows outstanding work in several project areas, accomplishments and 4-H activities. This award is available to youth who have completed grades 7 through 12. (1 award given)
- Outstanding Intermediate Award

Recognizes members who have completed at least one project record keeping system and shows outstanding work in several project areas, accomplishments and 4-H activities. This award is available to youth who have just completed 7th or 8th grade. (2-3 awards given)
- Dallas County Leadership/Service Award

Recognizes outstanding leadership and service qualities in 4-H, school and community. This award is available to youth who have completed 9th through 12th grade. Sponsored by Dallas County Farm Bureau and Dallas County Youth Committee. (2 awards given)

- Outstanding Senior Award

Recognizes a member who has completed one project record keeping system and shows outstanding work in several project areas, accomplishments and 4-H activities. This award is available to youth who have completed grades 9 through 12. Sponsored by Perry Kiwanas. (1award given)
- Achievement

Recognizes outstanding personal growth in a variety of 4-H projects and programs. This award is available to youth who have completed 10th or 11th grades with three years or more in 4-H. Sponsored by the Dallas County Youth Committee. (1award given)

- Agriculture

Recognizes outstanding personal growth through participation in a variety of agriculture projects. This award is available to youth who have completed 10th or 11th grade and have 3 years or more in 4-H. Sponsored by the Dallas County Youth Committee (1 award given)
