Wisgerhof named County Youth Coordinator in Dallas County

ADEL,  Iowa – Allison Wisgerhof has begun as the new County Youth Coordinator with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, Dallas County. 
Allison graduated this May from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in communications.  She is pleased to be back in the Dallas County Extension Office after having spent the previous summer as the summer assistant.
To many residents, Allision will be a familiar face.  She is a Dallas County native who was actively involved in 4-H, FFA, and many local saddle clubs. She held the title of Miss Rodeo Dallas County 2015. 
In her new role, Allison will work to provide day to day leadership and management for Dallas County 4-H and K-12 outreach programs, and positive youth development efforts.  She takes over the position from Aleta Cochran, who has transitioned into the role of Office Manager for Dallas County Extension. 
Allison says, “I am thrilled to be back in the office in a position that allows me to both educate and share my passion for agriculture with the public!”
