Professional Development Scholarships Offered

We are pleased to announce that we would like to support child care providers in Dallas and Warren Counties who are interested in taking online classes being offered by Iowa State University.  Scholarships will be funded by United of Central Iowa.  Below is a list of the classes supported. 
 
You can find these courses and be able to enroll on the DHS Training Registry under Delivery Method: Online with Date/Time.  
 
Maximum payment of $100 per person. Please submit all certificates with this form.   We will issue one check per provider.   Funds are limited, so don’t delay in sending in certificatesDeadline for submission is June 1, 2018

Quality Support Requirements:
1.     Work in a licensed center/preschool or registered Child Development Home
2.     Be working on a quality initiative such as QRS, QPPS, NAEYC Accreditation, or Head Start Performance standards.  (please circle at least one)
3.     Participate in one on-site consultation with and ISUEO staff member
4.     Be in good standing with past grant opportunities
