Register for ServSafe® Food Safety Certification Class to be held May 22 in Denison

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in Crawford County will be hosting a ServSafe® food safety certification class in Denison on May 22nd. Ann Heuer and Holly Van Heel, Nutrition and Wellness Specialists, will be teaching the class.
This class will prepare individuals to become a Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM), a requirement for food establishments in Iowa. The ServSafe® program blends information from the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research, and years of food sanitation training experience and is administered through the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.
This class will be held in the meeting room at the Crawford County Extension Office at 35 South Main Street, Denison. Registration is due three weeks before the class date- by May 1st.  Do not hesitate to register. Registration is now done online and cost for the training is $150.
