Common Sense Parenting
 
Are you the parent, grandparent or guardian of a toddler or preschooler?  Do you sometimes struggle with the behaviors that they exhibit at home and when you are out?  If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, this training is for you.
 
Common Sense Parenting (CSP)for Parents of Toddlers and Preschoolers is a seven-week class that offers training for parents and providers who want to build on their existing skills or learn new ways of dealing with their children’s behaviors.  Professional Parent trainers teach the course.
 
Common Sense Parentingclasses will be on Mondays beginning Feb 3 -Mar 16 from 5:00-7:30pm.  A light meal from 5:00-5:30 and 5:30-7:30 pm will be class time.  Classes will be held at the Crawford County Extension office, 35 S. Main in Denison.  This program is offered free of charge to all families, as funding has been received through Early Childhood of Iowa grant.
 
Common Sense Parenting is an evidenced based curriculum developed by the Parenting Experts at Boys Town.  Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, Crawford County has collaborated with them to bring this opportunity to you.
