Crawford County voters will have the opportunity to elect four members of the Crawford County Extension Council during the Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020, general election. Individuals successful in being elected will serve either a four year term. Extension council members are elected at large, and all voters in the county are eligible to vote for four candidates.

Rethinking your Retirement

Many Iowans are considering early retirement due to job challenges, health concerns, or other reasons. On top of that, temporary policy changes have made it easier for people to withdraw from their retirement accounts during 2020. You may have questions as you sort through your options.

“What About Me? My Wellbeing” is a FREE four-week virtual educational series beginning online Thursday, Sept. 10.  You can take this introductory, research-based program to learn about taking time for yourself, and your relationships, finances and physical health. Each workshop is 45 minutes and begins at 6:30 pm. The remaining workshops are set for Thursdays, Sept. 17 and 24 and Oct. 1. Each session will feature a different wellbeing coach who is an expert in his or her field.
