What is a 4-H Club?
A 4-H club is an organized learning community that meets regularly with adult volunteers or staff for a long-term series of educational experiences. The 4-H club experience consists of positive youth development experiential learning opportunities in partnership with caring adults. Volunteers assist young people in becoming competent, caring, contributing, confident, connected, and capable. 4-H clubs are designed to be vibrant and sustainable learning communities that center around one or more areas of common interest, location, or any other appropriate criteria. Clubs have a primary function of group and individual learning centered on shared goals.
