The Local Government team collaborates with local governments to develop the leadership skills and knowledge needed to generate policies, procedures, and planning for the betterment of Iowa’s communities and regions. We have expertise in data collection and interpretation; local government budgeting, administration, and law; assessing and addressing communities' housing needs; and board strategic planning, visioning, and facilitation, which we apply to foster professionalism, build capacity, improve efficiencies, and emphasize sustainable practices and outcomes in the public sector.
