Program Description

The Iowa Rural Equity Project (IREP) is designed to (1) generate greater awareness of Iowa's existing equity capital networks that invest in Ag Tech and Rural Innovations, (2) acquaint potential rural investors with the principles used by equity professionals in identifying prospects and making investment decisions in emerging ventures of various types, and (3) discuss investment regulations and alternative strategies for individuals, communities and institutions interested in emerging investment opportunities that may have some potential for local and regional economic impacts.

Delivery Method

IREP provides web-based information in several formats:

  • A Video series
  • Blog/newsletter
  • Workshop on "Strategies for Rural Angel Investing"

Fee

IREP resources are offered at no charge on the website
