Essentials of ArcGIS Pro: Two Day Course

This two-day course will explore the new, easy-to-use features in Esri’s ArcGIS Pro software suite. ArcGIS Pro is an all-in-one solution for the editing, visualization, query, analysis, and management of maps and spatial data. This course is intended for both new and experienced users of geographic information systems. Experience using Windows-based applications is highly recommended. Cost is $500 per person with a 50% discounts for ISU-affiliated staff, students, and faculty, and a 15% discount for groups of two and a 20% discount for groups of three or more from the same organization. *Workshop cost is increasing to $600 per person starting January 2024.

  • Making maps from geospatial data
  • Mapping data from tables
  • Querying your database and selecting features by location
  • Displaying, projecting, and editing data

Essentials of QGIS: One Day Course

This one-day course will explore the new, easy-to-use features in QGIS 3.x software. QGIS is a free and open source mapping application for the editing, display, query and analysis of map data as well as map layout tasks. This course is intended for both new and experienced users of geographic information systems. Experience using Windows-based applications is highly recommended. Cost is $125 per person. There are no scheduled course at this time.
