Customer Service and Community Tourism Strategies
Through this two-hour workshop, business managers, front line staff, and community leaders will learn how to implement the two key components of customer service to strengthen their tourism economy:
- Community - How to inspire more travelers to stop, stay longer, and keep returning to your community.
- Businesses - How to attract visitors to your business, and build your customer base through excellent customer service.
Through workshop presentations, activities and discussion, participants will learn the 5 Steps of Excellent Customer Service, and hear how successful businesses create a customized service culture.
Workshop Participants: This workshop is open to all community residents, but is especially designed for small business managers, community tourism leaders, and front line staff who interact with community visitors--including retail, restaurants, convenience stores, attractions, and lodging.
Fee: The workshop fee is $750, which includes two hours of instruction, participant material packets, and instructor travel expenses to any Iowa location
