Essentials of ArcGIS Pro: NEW! two-day course
After a longer-than-intended hiatus, we are thrilled to ring in 2022 with a completely revamped ESRI workshop for ArcGIS Pro! Whether you’re an ArcMap user ready to take the leap to Pro, someone who’s used ArcGIS Pro in the past and are looking to brush up your skillset, or a GIS novice, this workshop is for you.

Over two days you will be introduced to the essentials of ArcGIS Pro, including its user interface, basic geoprocessing tools like buffering, clipping, and dissolving, as well as other basic map making essentials.

Experience using Windows-based applications is highly recommended. Cost is $500 per person with discounts for ISU-affiliated staff, students, and faculty, and for groups of two or more from the same organization.

GIS mapTopics covered:

  • Making maps from geospatial data
  • Mapping data from tables
  • Querying your database and selecting features by location
  • Displaying, projecting, and editing data
