3 youth with their stuffed animals

This is an opportunity for K-3rd Grade children to showcase at the Clay County Fair in the 4-H Auditorium on the evening of Tuesday, September 11 at 6:30pm.  Participants will have the opportunity to talk about their stuffed animal (or other plush creature or friend) with a caring adult, to show an audience their stuffed animal and receive ribbons.  Please call or fill out the entry form at this link to enter.  A limit on entries may be imposed for time constraints, so enter today!  Please share with your friends, all K-3rd grade youth are welcome!

Master Gardener in Garden

The 2018 Master Gardener Training will offer a new flipped classroom model, which will allow for increased hands-on experiences.  Classes will be offered on Tuesdays from 6-8pm in Mid-August until Early November. Along with an all-day workshop in Ames on November 3.

3 4-Hers at Achievement Fair
June 21, 2018

The 2018 Achievement Fair will be held on Wednesday, July 25 from 8:30am-4:00pm at the 4-H Auditorium & Exhibit Building, Clay County Fairgrounds.  Achievement Fair is a county mini-fair, where Clay County 4-Hers have the opportunity to have their Human Sciences project area work judged and are able to speak with the judge about their exhibit and project learning.  Join us for a fun filled day!

The Clay County 4-H Youth Development Program is combining citizenship and compassion by again hosting the “Community Compassion” event during the Clay County Fair. Clay County 4-Hers will have the opportunity to grow in compassion and to help others by donating one of their own human sciences exhibits.

Cupcake Wars Class
May 11, 2018

Cupcake Wars is a Clay County contest where a team of 2 4-Hers will compete to create and design decorated cupcakes.  This event will happen Sunday, September 9th at the 2018 Clay County Fair.  Registration will begin on July 2.
