February 10, 2021

Local families with preschool and elementary-aged youth are invited to participate in a family Story Walk on Saturday, March 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the South Park Mall in Spencer. The event is free to participate in and registration is not needed. Families are encouraged to visit the mall any time between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on the 6th. Once they pick up a goodie bag at the front entrance, they can walk through the mall at their own pace reading an EGG-cellent story and learning about eggs and agriculture.

The Youth Program Summer Assistant supports Iowa State University Extension and Outreach with the preparation and delivery of summer educational programs. Primary responsibilities include support and coordination of K-12 youth programs, especially in relation to the Clay County Youth Fair preparation. Position is hourly, 20-30 hours per week average. Submit cover letter, resume and references by March 2nd for first review!
