Ag-Citing for Adults

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in Clay county will offer Ag Citing for Adults at the Clay County Fair this year.

Ag Citing has been a very successful Ag education program for third graders at the Clay County Fair.  Over 13,000 third graders from 15 school districts have attended Ag Citing since 1995.

Adult students have an interest in learning about modern agriculture also, says Clay County Extension staff members Amy Forrette and Michele Hogrefe.    The Clay County Fair has one of the largest displays of Ag equipment and Ag technology in North America.  So, the decision was made to offer a program to help area adults learn about modern agricultural production.
