Clay County Farmland Leasing and Value Meeting to be held on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at the 4-H Auditorium on the Clay County Fairgrounds from 9:00am-12:00pm.  Call 712-262-2264 to pre-register (cost $20) until August 14, day of program (August 15) cost will be $25.  Couple registration is $30 and includes one workbook to share.  Each registrant will receive one lease arrangements book.

OUCH! That Stereotype Hurts Flyer

Join us on Monday, February 4th from 4:00-5:30pm at Spencer Hospital for OUCH! That Stereotype Hurts Workshop.  This free event is hosted by Spencer Hospital in partnership with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Clay County. OUCH! That Stereotype Hurts, helps participants understand the impact of stereotypes and biased statements, identify the most common reasons people sit silently in the face of bias and stereotypes, and enhance skills for speaking up against stereotypes.

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in Clay county will offer Ag Citing for Adults at the Clay County Fair this year.  These events will take place on Tuesday (9/12) and Thursday (9/14).  The topics covered will be Crop, Dairy, and Swine Production.

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach - Clay County is offering a hands-on training on seeking and writing successful grants for non-profits, local government and schools from 5:30-8:30pm on Wednesday, November 30th, at the Clay County Extension Office.  The registration fee is $25, and will include a light meal at the start of the program.  Please register by Monday, November 28th by calling 712-262-2264.

  • Data on each county in Iowa including population demographics, education, retail sales, personal income, employment, occupation, housing, and family characteristics.

  • The Iowa Small Business Development Center (SBDC) conducts research, counsels, and trains business people in management, financing, and operating small businesses, and provides comprehensive information services and access to experts in a variety of fields.
