Chickasaw County Extension and Outreach is pleased to offer 2 fun summer day camps for 4th through 8th graders!
The first camp is Agriculture Experience!
It will be Monday, June 27th at Twin Ponds Nature Center from 2-10 pm. The cost is $15.00.
Through the activities in this program, youth will gain awareness of the importance of agriculture in their daily lives. Youth will also gain life skills such as teamwork, organization, and observation. These lessons can help youth with a limited background in agriculture appreciate and gain an interest in agriculture. For those youth who have a background in agriculture, these lessons can expose them to a variety of different topics in agriculture. We will also be exploring the nature center and going on a night hike.
The second camp is Camp Recharge!
It will be held on Friday, July 22nd at Twin Ponds Nature Center from 9 am to 3 pm. The cost is $15.00.
Come explore ways to recharge your mind, heart, and body while discovering your inner warrior through arts, movement and time outdoors! At Camp Recharge, youth will engage in healthy ways to unplug by: Connecting with Nature, Sparking Creativity, Practicing Mindful Movement, Building Positive Relationships.
