–The Iowa Pork Industry Center at Iowa State University, in collaboration with the Iowa Pork Producers Association, will hold a workshop on December 11, 2019 in Cedar County to address preparations for an outbreak of a foreign animal disease. The outbreak of a foreign animal disease would be a huge challenge for Iowa pork producers. Planning ahead for an outbreak may reduce some of the stress and assist operations in preparing appropriate actions.
