What is available for local foods in Butler County?  Where can consumers find local products?  Where are producers interested in selling?

Are you a local food producer, farmer's market manager, local food consumer, grocery store manager, restaurant owner in Butler County?  Iowa State University Extension in Butler County and UNI Local Food Program Manager are hosting a networking meeting for those interested in local foods in Butler County.  Anyone is welcome to attend.  The purpose is to identify what is available in Butler County and identify how we can work together. 

Meeting will be held at the Butler County Extension Office in Allison on April 29th at 6:00 pm.  Light supper will be provided. Anyone is interested is encouraged to attend! RSVP by April 25th to Holly Merritt, Butler County Extension Director at 319-267-2707 or hmerritt@iastate.edu.
