Customer Service workshops are taught by Extension Regional Directors and County Extension staff to strengthen their local economies.
CED’s Train-the-Trainer Customer Service program is available exclusively to Extension staff interested in teaching customer service workshops and building connections with their business community. The curriculum is designed specifically for retail and small business managers, their front line staff, and community development/tourism leaders.
Through CED’s training, Extension staff will learn how to customize the curriculum to teach a one-hour “lunch and learn”, or use provided learning activities for longer sessions. Staff will learn how to teach the 5 Steps of Excellent Customer Service and the two key customer service components:
- Community Vitality: How to inspire more travelers to stop, stay longer, and keep returning to your community.
- Business Success: How to attract more customers to your business and keep them coming back.
