Some farmers can expect to begin receiving Agriculture Risk Coverage and Price Loss Coverage payments from the Farm Service Agency during the next few weeks. The geographical distribution of the payments can be visualized online in the Iowa State University decision tool “ARC/PLC Payments per Base Acre in Iowa."

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Buena Vista County office will host an Aquatic, Forest and Right-of-Way Continuing Instruction Course (CIC) for commercial pesticide applicators on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017. The program provided by the ISU Extension and Outreach Pesticide Safety Education Program (PSEP) can be seen at office locations across Iowa.

  • Data on each county in Iowa including population demographics, education, retail sales, personal income, employment, occupation, housing, and family characteristics.

  • The Iowa Small Business Development Center (SBDC) conducts research, counsels, and trains business people in management, financing, and operating small businesses, and provides comprehensive information services and access to experts in a variety of fields.
