The STEM Activities are innovative programs that support the development of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and literacy skills for K-3 youth. They all use a unique instructional framework that integrates inquiry-based STEM activities and carefully selected children's literature that engage and support positive youth development.

In addition, these exciting research-based programs are designed to support the Next Generation Science Standards, the National Core Arts Standards, the Iowa Core Mathematics Standards and the Common Core English Language Arts Standards.

Wtih STEM-Lit to Go!, children explore key STEM concepts such as the engineering design process and conducting investigations. Each lesson provides youth with a hands-on STEM experience and multiple opportunities to read, write, speak and listen about that experience.
