Volunteer

Volunteer Opportunities are available for adults too. Adults can be a club leader or assistant club leader for a new or current 4-H club, offer a project learning process as a project leader for a club or the county, host a 4-H display, serve on a county 4-H committee, help with a county 4-H event like the award application process or the communication contest, serve as a county fair superintendent, etc. A volunteer role can be matched up with your interest and time availability..

All new adult volunteers who, during the course of their volunteer involvement with the Youth and 4-H Program, may be alone with children or have unsupervised access to children under 18 years of age, must complete the ISU Extension Child Protection and Safety Program packet and be approved by the ISU Extension – Boone County Extension Council.

Please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form and turn it into the Boone County ISU Extension & Outreach Office (located at 1327 SE Marshall Street in Boone, between Wal-Mart and Casey's) to help us match you up with a volunteer role.
