Volunteer
Volunteer Opportunities are available for adults too. Adults can be a club leader or assistant club leader for a new or current 4-H club, serve on a county 4-H committee, help with a county 4-H event like the award application process or the communication contest, serve as a county fair superintendent, etc. A volunteer role can be matched up with your interest and time availability.
All new adult volunteers who, during the course of their volunteer involvement with the Youth and 4-H Program, may be alone with children or have unsupervised access to children under 18 years of age, must complete the ISU Extension Child Protection and Safety Program packet and be approved by the ISU Extension – Boone County Extension Council.
If you have a passion for our mission, we'd be happy to match your skills with our need for volunteers. We look forward to having you join our team to share your time, passion and skills with our programs.
