STEAM Workshops Offered

1st-3rd graders are invited to explore STEAM concepts during their 2019 Spring Break, March 18-22. Workshops will be held 1-4 pm each day of the week at the ISU Extension and Outreach Office in Boone County.
 
On Monday, March 18, participants will explore math concepts by participating in games of chance to learn more about probability. On Tuesday, March 19, youth are invited to engineer a phone and simple windmill. On Wednesday, March 20, creativity will be showcased as youth explore the elements of design. On Thursday, March 21, technology will be the focus as youth program robots. Lastly, Friday, March 22 will give youth the opportunity to have fun with science.
 
Children may sign up for any or all of these workshops at https://iastate.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6Sbib5bPYZYXifj. Each day has a registration fee of $10.
