Cocoa & Crafts on Monday, November 18th and Wednesday, November 20!

Come in and make paper wreaths, oragami trees, and cards that will go in Christmas boxes for soldiers! The Lincoln Links and Black Hawk Stars 4-H Clubs are sending soldiers from Hudson, Waterloo, and Boone in the C Company 147th Christmas boxes as they have been deployed to the Middle East for a year and would love your help in making these boxes something to remember!  Stop for some cocoa, stay for the crafts! See you next week!

Do you have ideas to make Black Hawk County 4-H better?  Are you looking for a way to get more involved in 4-H?  Step up and join the 2019-2020 Black Hawk County 4-H Council!  By joining County Council, you will become one of the youth leaders of our program.  This leadership role will provide you the opportunity to get involved, promote 4-H, and learn important life skills. Our goal is to be instrumental in promoting and maintaining an active and fundamental program for youth in Black Hawk County.
Members will achieve this goal by serving as liaison between the 4-H’ers and adults to help identify and understand the unique aspirations of young people.  Members will be expected to attend meetings to plan and assist with 4-H events in Black Hawk County throughout the year. Traditionally events include Fair, Awards Banquet, and Omelet Breakfast to raise funds for fair premiums. Members must be responsible and motivated. Please fill out application to join!
