What is 4-H?
4-H reaches almost 6 million young people worldwide. Youth can experience 4-H through school and community clubs, in-school and after-school programs, and 4-H camps. 4-H programming focuses on the following program project areas:
- Agriculture and Natural Resources
- Healthy Living
- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM)
- Leadership and Civic Engagement
- Communication and the Arts

Enrollment information:
- Enrollment begins annually on September 1. 4-H members must be (re)enrolled and fees paid every year by March 15 in order to exhibit at the Benton County Fair.
- Enrollment fees:
- Program fees support the county and state 4-H program
- Current fees are $50 per 4-H member / $?? after December 31 and $30 per Cloverbud member
- Program fee assistance is available by contacting benton4h@iastate.edu

Did you Know - 4-H is for everyone?
Benton County welcomes youth from various backgrounds and interests. Youth ranging from K-12 can get involved in 4-H activities.
