Waukon Farmers Market to begin June 7

Spring is here and fresh fruits and vegetables will soon be ready.  The Waukon Farmers Market in Waukon will start its seventeeth season this year.
The goal of the Waukon Farmers Market is to foster a relationship between growers, producers, crafters and the members of the county-wide community by providing fresh, high-quality products, a community meeting place, events and consumer education.
The Market will be held every Monday at the Allamakee County Fairgrounds beginning June 7 and ending September 27. The Market will be open from 3:30 p.m.- 5:30 p.m.
The Waukon Market is currently looking for vendors, crafters and community groups to participate. Farmers Market Vendor Fee $10.00 per week up to $30.00 for the 17 week season, pre-paid vendors will have an assigned table. The vendor fee and the Farmers Market Agreement must be turned into the Extension Office prior to attending the market, office hours are Monday -  Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
