Registration starts 12:30 p.m. and tour begins at 1:00 p.m.

Farm and Crop Update - Dominic Snyder, Farm Agricultural Specialist

Interaction between soybean cyst nematodes and cover crops - Chelsea Harbach, Graduate Assistant in Plant Pathology, Iowa State University

Pepper and muskmelon cultivar trials - Ajay Nair, Associate Professor of Horticulture, and Dominic Snyder, Farm Agricultural Specialist

 

 

Directions to the farm:

Go 1/2 mile south of the Muscartine Airport on Hwy 61, then 1 mile east on County Road G-38.

Watch for signs.

Directions to the Muscatine Island Research and Demonstration Farm:
The farm is located at 111 North Street in Fruitland, IA 52749-9377. From Highway 61, turn east (left if you are southbound, right if you are northbound) on Fruitland Road (south of the airport), which becomes North Street at the Fruitland city limits. The farm is on the south (right) side of North Street.
