Indoor plants help create a welcoming, calming, aesthetically pleasing environment in homes, offices, and shopping malls. More than 80 percent of American homes have at least one houseplant. Visit Yard and Garden Online for more information.
Want more plants? Many houseplants can be propagated by placing cuttings in a rooting medium. Others require a little more work. Air layering is a procedure used to induce roots to form on a plant stem while it is still attached to the parent plant.
Still have your Easter lily? It won't survive as a houseplant but it can be planted outdoors.
