4-H Is Made for Walkin'

Sunday, April 23rd was a night to remember.  4-H'ers and their families came out in force to be entertained, and they didn't leave the show disappointed.  They were entertained with  fiddle, saxophone, and trombone music, beautiful vocal solos, and creative, fun skits.  The Deer Creek Wohelo club made it clear that 4-H is a GREAT DEAL!  We were treated to some real stars dancing with the Green Shamrocks, and did you know that the Nextfair is just around the corner?  The Barnstormers walked the line in 4-H and the county council line danced their way into the hearts of the crowd.  Three acts were selected to advance to the Iowa State Fair.  Those were club acts by:  The Silver Lake Huskers - with "4-H Idol", Grove Progressive Farmers with "4H is Made for Walkin'", and Golden Banner Club with "4-H Olympics".  Ben Irons of the Silver Lake Huskers was named 1st alternate for his Fiddle Solo.  Congratulations to all of you!
