Iowa State University Extension & Outreach: Worth County

Worth County Extension has many programs to offer every group of individuals. We have excellent family programs and resources, wonderful opportunities for youth K-12 to get involved in from 4-H to Clover Kids and more. We have outstanding resources and programs for area farmers and residents. Our office is always a wealth of information for anyone looking for an answer - and if we don't know, we'll find out!

   Worth County 4-H Record Books DUE

      This year’s record book deadline and due date is Monday, September 28th at 4:30 P.M. The 4-H record book workshops will be very informal and 4-Her’s can come and go according to how much time they want to spend at the sessions. To pick up 4-H project record materials, please stop by the Worth County Extension Office at 808 Central Avenue in Northwood. 

   Worth County 4-H Fire-Up October 11th

Worth County 4-H will host their annual “4-H Fire-up” on Sunday, October 11th at the Worth County Fairgrounds beginning at 3:30 P.M. and concluding at 5 P.M. All new and prospective 4-H members are encouraged to attend. There will be food, fun, 4-H Exhibits, presentations and an opportunity for 4-H members to sign up. There will be a listing of 4-H Club Leader contacts and a sharing of what programs are available to 4-H members in Worth County.
