Worth County Extension has many programs to offer every group of individuals. We have excellent family programs and resources, wonderful opportunities for youth K-12 to get involved in from 4-H to Clover Kids and more. We have outstanding resources and programs for area farmers and residents. Our office is always a wealth of information for anyone looking for an answer - and if we don't know, we'll find out!

Worth County 4-H State Recognition Workshop Saturday, January 16th

                The Worth County Extension Service will host a State 4-H Recognition Workshop on Saturday, January 16th at 11 A.M . All 9th grade to 12th grade 4-H members are invited to participate in learning about the many state 4-H award winning opportunities. Past Worth County 4-H Award winners will be on hand to share information about how to apply for the awards and recognition trips to National 4-H Club Congress in Atlanta, Georgia and National 4-H Conference in Washington D.C. The 4-H members will also have a chance to learn about what duties and responsibilities are of the Iowa State 4-H Council and what the application and interview process is to be able to serve on the 2016-2017 Iowa State 4-H Council Team.                    Worth County 4-H Washington D.C. Trip Meeting                                                              Sunday, January 31st  

            The Worth County 4-H will be hosting a Washington D.C. Citizenship Trip Orientation meeting on Sunday, January 31st at 7 P.M. at the Northwood Movie Theatre. The program will be for all 4-H parents and 4-H members who will be participating in this year’s March 19th-26th Worth County 4-H Washington D.C. Trip. Families will be learning about the itinerary, departure plans and items to bring as well as pack for the trip. The meeting will also include some Washington D.C. Highlight Videos.
