Sioux City, Iowa – Become an Iowa Master Gardener by completing the core training course this fall through the Iowa State University Extension (ISU) and Outreach – Woodbury County office. Gardeners will learn best practices for choosing plants, designing gardens and managing pests. Classes in Woodbury County start on September 22, 2016.

Iowa State University Extension - Woodbury County is excited to announce that a new building is in the works!  The building will help Woodbury County Extension better meet the needs of the residents of Woodbury County and the region.

Local foods are making an economic impact in Iowa. In fact, sales of food produced in northwest Iowa added $312,441 to the local economy in 2012 as reported by eighteen farmers in the northwest region.
