Iowa State University Extension - Woodbury County is excited to announce that a new building is in the works!  The building will help Woodbury County Extension better meet the needs of the residents of Woodbury County and the region.

Woodbury County 4-H’er Emily Dawn Widman, Sergeant Bluff, received a state 4-H citizenship project award. Widman, 18, is the daughter of David and Elizabeth Widman.

The Woodbury County 4-H Foundation has begun their annual fund drive. Average Iowa farmland value is estimated to be $8,296 per acre, an increase of 23.7 percent from 2011, according to results of the Iowa Land Value Survey conducted in November. This is the third year in a row where values have increased more than 15 percent. The 2012 values are historical peaks.
