Iowa State University Extension - Woodbury County is excited to announce that a new building is in the works! The building will help Woodbury County Extension better meet the needs of the residents of Woodbury County and the region.
The Woodbury County 4-H Foundation has begun their annual fund drive. Donations will be used to offer educational incentives to graduating seniors, to provide financial assistance for youth participating in 4-H youth programs, and to provide funds when needed to start new 4-H clubs. Average Iowa farmland value is estimated to be $8,296 per acre, an increase of 23.7 percent from 2011, according to results of the Iowa Land Value Survey conducted in November. This is the third year in a row where values have increased more than 15 percent. The 2012 values are historical peaks.
