The Woodbury County 4-H Foundation has established a mini-grant program which is designed to encourage 4-H members and clubs to carryout projects which will benefit the community. The Foundation will provide up to $100 in matching funds to help clubs or individual 4-H’ers get the money they need to complete a community project. This is the second year mini-grants have been offered. Please click here to view the complete set of guidelines.
Deadline to apply is March 1. Questions may be directed to ISU Extension Program Coordinator Adrienne Jansen at jansena@iastate.edu or (712) 276-2157.
The Woodbury County 4-H Foundation awarded the first mini-grant last year to the Good Luck Clovers for $100 to be used for their “Tree of Love Project” where they give denim bags of personal care items to the homeless of Sioux City at the Gospel Mission during their annual Christmas party.
